Root Hill Cafe, Part II

So remember my posting about my favorite coffee shop in Brooklyn, Root Hill last week?

Well…they’ve gotten some great recognition this week. Today was an article about Gowanus and real estate in the area in the New York Times, titled: New Cityscape, in Search of Green Space. The main photo in the article is of the bar that I use to stage my photos of products. I LOVE that bar! And I love Root Hill!

The second recognition this week, is coming through Time Out New York as a top pick for the week:  Trash Pony’s Science series that opens this coming Sunday night at 7 pm.  Trash Pony by the way is the night time bar/lounge half of the shop. During the day, they are the coffee shop. At night, they turn into a bar/wine + food establishment that rocks. You should definitely check it out!  And especially on upcoming science night.

I am super excited for Root Hill Cafe because well I love them and I’m glad that they are getting the proper attention they deserve. I just hope my weekend work days don’t get too crowded.
